Talking Doctoral Programs online

While Phoenix is online 100% are there other institutions that offer Ph.d/Ed.d programs that are online but also have brick and mortor?

Nova Southeastern is the only one I am aware of?

Anyone else know of any?

Mark

Talking there are so many

I did not put all 75 accredited online universities it will just look like a mess.

But we are soon writing a long review on each university and give them points according to a few major factors.

But you'll have to wait till www.degree.net review team will finish writing everything down around 1 month

I enrolled at Capella University during the summer of 2004. I haven't attended any other online schools so it is difficult to compare. I'm glad that I chose Capella because it has been a good experience and I've learned a great deal. If Capella offers a program you're interested in, I would say it's a good choice. The most important advice I would give to anyone on this forum is to not put it off any longer and get started on your degree. You won't regret it!

I hope to graduate in 2008 with a BS in Business/Marketing. Good Luck!
Brian

They advertise heavily that is true. As does DeVry University. I went/go to both and for me they were great. Being a single mom without transportation and working, I wouldn't have gotten my undergrad degree any other way. And now I'm working on my MBA. And believe me, neither are easy just because they are online. My first 2 years at DU, I had on-campus classes and they were easier then the online classes I have taken. You really have to know your stuff when attending class online. There is no getting-by for just showing up and turning in assignments. You have to make valid contributions to the classroom discussions.

Before you knock it, try it.

I wanted to let you know that UoP is not 100% online. They do have "brick and mortar" buildings where you can attend class of you choose. I do the 100% online although Atlanta does have a campus downtown. My son's father does half online, half on campus in Savannah.

Default Capella

I see so many people saying that University of Phoenix is great; however I see that Capella got the highest percentage.
Is capella any good or what?
