This table simply shows the overall ranking of each college, with its average rank in the right-hand column reflecting the sum of all of its ranks divided by the number of metrics for which data was found for that particular college.

It was intersting to see the ranking of online schools but I wouldnt use it for much more than a guestimate. The group that conducted the study is a for profit company which raises the question of whether they charged for this service. I liked that the data used was hard data but I am bit weary becuase there are factors for online schools such as student satisfaction. I think it would be more helpful if schools were all judged from an independent source that used a generally accepted tool for assessing schools. Some of the schools on that list are schools with large resident programs as well as online.

This proves the list is invalid IMO. I have no personal interest in APUS, but from all I've read from so many forums like this one, that institution is head and shoulders above the majority of schools on that list. Just my .02.
