Default Speech/Communications Classes

Hello, I'm looking into getting a degree online and was curious how the speech/communications classes are handled at online colleges. I know that was always the dreaded course at our local community college because you had to get up in front of the class and give about five speeches. Thanks!

Hi my brother is currently working on his Bachelors degree in Communications from Southern New Hampshire University, completely online. For one of his communications classes, they were required to purchase digital voice recorders to do their speeches and then upload the mp3's to their instructor. For another one of his communications classes he had to make a short video.

So there are unique ways to handle the communications courses, it depends on the university or college. For example, at one of the colleges where I work, the communications class is completely online, except students have to come to the campus to do their presentations in person, on a set date.
