I'm asking the following questions for my wife.
(DISCLAIMER: MY WIFE IS ALSO DOING HER OWN RESEARCH FOR ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS. I AM ONLY ASSISTING HER IN FINDING AN ACCURATE ANSWER) Background: My wife was attending a university before my job transfered us to a different state (Maine). She was approximately 12-18 hours shy of a BA in speech pathology. She wasn't able to earn her degree because when we were relocated we were moved away from family. She has since been the primary caretaker of our daughter, without much of my help. It is very hard with my hours, which vary, to allow me to take care of our daughter during daylight hours. I usually work all night and sleep in the day time. Because of our location in Maine, my several business trips, and my unusual work hours, it is very difficult, if not impossible to try and get her enrolled at the nearest college. (90 miles) Questions: Are you able to earn a BA in Speech Pathology, at an accredited school, through distance learning? What are the names of the "Big Three" schools I hear about? Do you have any suggestions as to what we could do to help her earn her degree? I'm sure I have missed some questions, but it is very early in the morning and I have been working all night. If there is any additional insight you have please feel free to share. Thank you in advance, Solrax |
