Question Rather Bleak Actualities?

Has the university's status changed?
Therefore, anyone enrolling in their Psy.D program AFTER 12/31/2008 is not eligible for licensure in CA?

So, now the Psy.D from CalSo is not only *unaccredited* nationally and by the APA, but now is even also an *unapproved* program for CA licensure for enrollees post-2008?

(But, their MA-Psychology program grads retain their eligibility, eh? )


So, if these are the facts, why would anyone seeking a Psy.D enroll?

The only reason I can gather why anyone would want to enroll is to earn a PsyD if they are already licensed in another field, such as counseling or therapy. A friend of mine is a mental health counselor and she completed a doctorate from Breyer State, despite my warnings. But she does not use it professionally, only her 2 master degrees are listed on her business cards and in her office.
