Well as for the USA. our passports and many documents typically don't say "Mr./Mrs.", Much less "Dr." Some forms have a box you can check when filling them out. You just write it on letters or forms whenever you want.

Default Skyhew - be careful!

Skyhew -

I've read ALL your posts and I suggest you be VERY careful! You've asked questions about:

(1) Acquiring a FAKE degree - something we will not help you with!
(2) Enrolling for an MBA at a legit Malaysian school.

You said your MBA enrolment status at Universiti Sains Malaysia was "under review" at last report, so:

(1) Why are you now asking about fake degrees and
(2) Where is this Ph.D. suddenly coming from?
(3) Are you perhaps asking because this change is EXACTLY the sort of thing often "recommended" in ads for fake degrees?

Relax! You don't have to answer to me... and now I've asked you some questions, I'll answer yours:

The Malaysian Government has offices that deal with Identity Cards and Passports. I'm sure they will assist you with any changes, according to the custom and laws of your country. -- But any degree you produce had better be the real thing!

I think a wise man would end this thread right here....

Johann

Thanks, Johann. Yes, I have apply USM for MBA, and OUM too... OUM has accept me but at the moment, I am still waiting for USM.

I have not get any PhD at the moment, and I planned to have it soon (maybe when I am older). Don't worry, I will not going to "buy" the title.

Besides, do you know any university will accept for PhD in Engineering with a MBA? I think this is abnormal but I really tired to take another Master in Engineering... haha...

Yes, I am asking about fake degree in others topic because so one told me he "Bought" a degree with a accredited University, with full detail and may check with the university anytime because the university have your record. This mainly "buy" from someone internal from university who have power to do suck things... Hence, just open a topic to see anyone have this info...

However, I am sure I not going to buy the PhD because most likely end-up I will in the court for this. And really thanks for your concern and advise! You are a great man!

All the best, and good day!

Default Business & Engineering - very logical combo...

Hi Skyhew -

The three best business professors I ever had were all women. Two of them had something else in common. They had both earned their business credentials (MBA and Ph.D in both cases) after successful engineering careers.

I think engineers do well in business and the study thereof because they tend to be people who are quick to see exactly "how things work," how they go wrong and how (maybe) they can be made to work better. The best of them can do this with business systems as readily as they can with machines and industrial processes etc.

It's hard to suggest a particular school yet, because I don't have nearly enough to go on, but I'll give you at least one.

An engineering degree FOLLOWED by an MBA is a great choice. Here's one that'll accept you with an MBA (provided you're an engineer!) Gotta be lots more!

Walden University's Ph.D program in Applied Management and Decision Sciences - Engineering Management

http://www.waldenu.edu/c/Schools/Schools_9452.htm

If you have a first degree in engineering and you get the MBA you're after - you probably have a HUGE number of choices. Or maybe a doctoral program in business, related to engineering management? I'm just guessing here, because I don't know:

(1) anything about your engineering background (say, what kind of engineering anyway? - Mech., Electrical, Chem. etc.)
(2) what your particular study preference will be when you're ready to start the doctoral thingy.
(3) anything AT ALL about engineering degrees in particular

One thing for sure - the MBA you're contemplating from either USM or OUM will make you likely to have the best job possible -- while you sort out your further distance learning options - engineering-related or otherwise.

Forum: I have absolutely NO background in engineering or the study thereof - so please feel free to jump all over me and help Skyhew if I've said anything wrong - or even if I haven't!

Johann

Thanks, Johann... Your advise is great!
Most likely PhD in Engineering Management after my MBA will be a great choice.
