Preston University lost it education license from the state of Alabama for the same non-accreditation criteria that KWU (aka Warren National) was closed for in Wyoming earlier this year. As of right now there is no place for alumni or students to get copies of transcripts or other registrar services. I personally had initially downgraded the status of my POS KW degree to a “Safety Certificate” but now with all the negative press surrounding it I have expunged it completely from my resume’. Probably a good idea if all KW grads did the same. Nobody wants to wind up at an interview discussing accreditation status with your next employer.

One final note if you go to Wikipedia and search KW-Warren National University in the comments section there is an attorney listed for the law suit from former KW students who were mislead by the web sites claim of accreditation. I personally am going to chalk it up to experience and because I’m one class from my real degree don’t seek any financial retribution for my own stupidity. However we live in litigious times so if you are so inclined be my guest.
