which direction should i go

Hi, I'm a stay home mom and want to get a degree online. I am researching the online universitys but feel un sure about authintisity. I feel that accredidation is important because i want the job to be home based.I want to be home for my kids,also get their college fund going so they are notlike me and be turning 40 and still not know what i want to be when i grow up. I have a BIG Certificate of completion in accounting (wow) from a vocational school. I dont know if that os my best route. I've consedered the Medical coding and billing or transcribing. Can anyone suggest a school or possible field that may help me reach my goal? I'm more of an artsy person (i would actually kill to take an art history class, that i will save for later) so what about like CAD . Any ways if anyone can give any advise i'd gladly give my first borne(so you can pay for his tuition) Thanks:confused:

Hi and welcome to the forum. Please celebrate your certificate of completion in accounting. It is an accomplishment that you can build an entire career around.

You are asking about programs which are outside my area of consideration, at least in the on line format. Please have a look a the accrediting organizations on the CHEA site ( http://www.chea.org/default.asp ) and check out the schools they accredit. You will find several that offer solid programs which meet the desires you have specified. Once you have had a chance to read some of this material and find an area of interest please come back to the board for further input.
