I have both secured and unsecured loans with them and they are very good to work with. If you have any problems what so ever with making your payment they will work with you to make sure you don't go into default. They are very nice.

It is really great to post in forums because you get comments and testimonials from people who are real and because of this, I visit Sallie Mae's site. :)

Loans can be useful, but I want to find someone who will pay for me to further my education. Even better, that will pay me to further my education AND foot the bill to boot. So far, I haven't been all that successful - for myself. But I'm getting close for my husband (who is in education).

I am happy that there are people who have found success with the help of Sallie Mae, but there is an unfortunate truth that future borrowers must be aware of. Sallie Mae IS a corrupt organization that used to be about helping students, but has since done a 180 and is now 110% about the money they can suck out of students. Sallie Mae doesn't care about its clients whatsoever anymore.
Don't take my word for it, however. Do some research and you'll find that what I'm telling you is true. The first three sites you should look at are:
Sallie Mae Beef (http://salliemaebeef.com)
Student Loan Justice (http://studentloanjustice.org)
Joe's Debt (http://www.joesdebt.com/)
I created Sallie Mae Beef after having a long, drawn out battle with them over mistakes they made, continued to make during my dispute, and wouldn't completely rectify. I soon found out I was FAR from alone. STAY AWAY FROM SALLIE MAE!!! There are plenty of good lenders out there that will help you, not screw you.

I would like to offer my apologies.
I have been told (on 2 other forums) that my previous message, which I posted on several forums, was SPAM. I don't condone SPAMMING. Actually, I HATE it!!!
I did not originally believe my message to be SPAM. I did not and do not believe my message was SPAM, but that's really up to the moderators of the individual forums. I felt that my message was acceptable because of the nature of the threads I posted it. Let me be clear that I did not simply find random message boards and start new threads advertising my site. I found thread topics where people were either:
discussing problems they've had with Sallie Mae.
debating whether or not to go with Sallie Mae as their lender.
inquiring about Sallie Mae's reputation.
I hope you can understand why I felt I was making an honest contribution to a topic. Once again, I apologize if I was wrong.
Thank you,
Chris

I would assume it was be a regular fund since online degrees are view by many colleges as the same as there B&M degrees.
