Hi guys, I just need some advise here...

I am currently enrolled in a college here in the Philippines (traditional school, classrooms, campus, etc.) taking up BS ECE (bachelor of scince in electronics and communications engineering. I'm interested and I think its a good idea taking up associate degree or techvoc online at the same time. I found this online college (Penn Foster College) in a newspaper ad from the best newspaper here in our country. I would like to ask if this school is 100% legit and recognized around the globe and I will be accepted by almost all employer. I checked their website and the reviews from other sites and I think its a good one and the course I want (Applied Computer Science) is offered there.

The reason for this guys is because the fields that Im interested in are Electronics and Computers, anything related to those fields and I really like doing things on those fields. I like to get a certificate or diploma while Im pursuing my dream do become a licensed engineer. I think its a good idea to get more certificates or diplomas to get higher job oppurtunities.

I want to get your oppinion about that college that I have mentioned and if you have other reccomendations. Thats all folks, thankz...

P.S.
I would like to ask if taking up a college course from a traditional college school and taking up online degree at the same time is possible...

PFC is a legitimate, nationally (DETC) accredited school having many of their courses being ACE reviewed - they're a good deal!!!

Yah I also think its a good one for now, haven't seen any negative comments about it, just making sure thats why I'm asking for your comments... I will enroll at PFC once I convinced my father. I think the tuition ($1,000+) is not that expensive if it includes the shipping and handling of books and study materials and assuming that tuition fees for colleges and universities in the U.S. are expensive not like here in our country about $200 - $400 per semester.

Very good school, but expensive for some9one from the Phillipines. They have DETC accreditation as Brian pointed out, good school.

If you want a similiar school with a lower budget, good accreditation, you can check out www.intec.edu.za

Good Luck
