Favorite Place to Study

Sometimes you need a place where you can tune out all other matters and settle down for some good old fashion studying. Of course, what is a great environment for one person to study may drive the next person up the wall. Do you have a spot that you head to when you really want to get down and dirty with the studying?

A place with a comfortable chair and a good table would be good for me plus a room with nobody who can disturb me. I have this kind of place in our room built just for the times that I needed to ponder on many things.

I go into the bedroom and read on the bed if its a reading assignment. If i actually have to write a paper i made an office in the house and ill use that. No tv or distractions is what i need.

The trend seems to be comfortable surroundings and removed from distractions. That is what works for me as well.

I have a home office with good lighting, a comfortable chair, and far removed from the television, radio, or even the stero.

Years ago, I could do homework, watch tv and talk on the phone at the same time. No more. I need my peace and quiet to focus.
