So many of us seem to be pursuing online degrees in hopes of a certain career, so it's got me wondering...what's you dream job? :)

For me, I went back for a degree simply because I had worked in an industry for seven years without any real educational credentials that lent itself to the work I did - so back to school I went.
So now I have both the experience and the educational background to do what I do.

As for me, I am still searching for US institutions that offer scholarships for online degree programs.
I am a teacher and a Commerce graduate and I am interested in pursuing an international course related to IT or computers although I would also like to get an education related to English grammer, composition and the like. :D

I'm still looking for that answer myself. I started wanting to get something educational wise since I homeschool my kids but then once I got started all that changed. I realized that what I was going for what not what was in my heart to do. I'm still homeschooling but I don't feel I need to get a degree to do it, I majored in Applied Science but minored in Administrative Studies so my options are a bit confusing to me at the moment but they will clear up eventually.

I wanted to work in the military, but my health is not good enough for that. So I choose totally different area – business. Is it really my dream profession? Maybe no, but it will help me to have good job, earn money and go work to military or medicine bases as volunteer.

I would love to become a child psychiatrist, but since I can't do med school, a child psychologist would be great. There is such a need for them and there are far too few to go around.

As I mentioned, going back to college was more to help me with my present career. But my dream job? Hmmmm....
I would love to own a little book shop, with a small coffee bar inside, and a section that had a sofa and two or three comfortable chairs set in front of a working fireplace.
My book shop would be located within walking distance of my favorite restaurant.
Of course, I would be independently wealthy, so it would not matter that much whether the store turned a profit or not...
