Hi!
I am new to this forum.
However, I did see a recent post by a gentleman from Poland who was seeking an expedient means for obtaining a 4 year degree pretty much from scratch.
Work experience - rich, college experience poor...
It just so happens that I live in Connecticut and was in a similar situation.
I have 20+ years of IT experience with several Fortune 500 companies where I had worked in Hardware Field Service and Software System Engineering.
In middle life, i.e.: my early forties, I took notice that the large Healthcare company I did business with, entered into a collaboration with COSC Charter Oak State College.
My interest was queued and I entered into their program in mid-September several years ago.
I chose to start out with no academic credit from a previous college effort when I was 18.
At the same time I stumbled onto BAIN4WEEKS.
I signed up for online CLEP exams and used the college board study guide for Natural Science and Social Sciences & History.
For $90 each 90 minute test, I earned 6 credits in each subject.
That's correct.
One night from 6pm to 9:30 pm, I had 12 credits for $180!
I followed the rest of the BAIN4WEEKS recommended plan of action.
Within 8 months I earned 100+ credits using BAIN4WEEKS strategy by way of testing via CLEP, DSSTs and Excelsior.
102 credits earned via 29 tests, using recommended test guides, textbooks and all for a cost of approximately $3000 for exams and $700 for books!
The CLEP tests provide you with no true recorded grade, i.e.: pass / fail.
The tests are between 72 and 102 questions and you Must get at least 50 correct. (there is NO penalty for wrong answers).
DSSTs are now Online! This is Excellent news as you will know your score as soon as you are through with the test.
DSSTs and Excelsior tests provide you with a recordable grade.
So with the 10 Graded tests I had taken, my GPA worked out to be a 3.9.
That's correct.
The upper level classes are something I really advise you to either do online with COSC or attend a nearby College / University.
I recommend this, since finding tests in upper level classes can be hard to find. In addition, the more difficult nature of your concentration's upper level courses is best learned / mastered in a deliberate way at a slower and detailed pace.
I recommend taking the Intersession class version of your upper level classes.
This very accelerated course format is becoming increasingly common.
During Christmas / New Years and Spring/Summer, schools are running Junior and Senior level classes which can be completed in 4.5 days to 2.5 weeks of 3 hour sessions each day / evening.
Since these upper level classes are within your field of interest, you will likely find them to be very engaging and enjoyable.
So...to wrap up this post, I contend that you can earn a BSBA in less than 1 year for under $8,000 at an EXCELLENT regionally accredited College which will help you navigate your endeavor with incomparable support and advisement.
Best wishes to you,
Scott

Oh, By the way.
I recommend the OFFICIAL CLEP and DSST test guides as well as Spark notes, Cliff Notes and the Standard Deviants Video series for exam preparation.

Where do you go to take the tests online? And do military members get free online tests?

This also worked well for me as well. I had to do most of this while deployed. Military members should know that all those test are free to them, just remember that part about the Sparks notes, Cliff Notes, COSC, TESC, and the actual Excelsior, CLEP, and DANTES (now DSST) Manuals!!

Scott you rock, and know I have a Bachelor Degree!!
