Hi,
I would like to increase my knowledge about social/poltical/cultural issues in african countries. Until know I did not found any online degree program that appeals me. Anyone out who knows any universities in that field? Any help is very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Johann

This is not a degree program per se, but maybe you'd be interested in joining the African Studies Association, headquartered at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Their web-page is:
http://www.africanstudies.org
Here's the nutshell of a degree idea - many good African Universities do distance ed (UNISA, UNIZULU, etc.) What better place to learn about Africa from, than an African University?
3 good reasons - the cost is VERY low compared to US, the instruction is good and I've read their accreditation generally meets US standards - some are actually accredited by US agencies, as it helps attract American students to the DL programs.
I'm no expert on this, but some guys over at degreeinfo.com who ARE have discussed this at length and if you look in the recent past threads I know there's a complete list of South African institutions and much info.
I wish you every success. :-)
