Hi

Welcome aboard. There are LOTS more than this, but one school that's really made a name in distance IT instruction is Western Governors' University www.wgu.edu. Yes, it's RA - and uniquely so, because it's accredited by not one, but several of the "Big Six" Regional Accrediting Commissions. I believe it was a co-operative effort of the Governors of nineteen Western States, hence the name.

What's particularly good about their IT programs is - you end up knowing how to DO stuff - you don't just read the theory. "Competency-based learning" is what it's commonly called. Along with your degree, you'll acquire quite a few (7-12, I think) valuable industry certifications - Cisco, Microsoft etc.

Good to have, when you go to a job interview - and with WGU you wind up with a good degree and more of these certs than you'd likely earn in any other single school program. Oh yes - Clovis is a wise choice for your general education credits. Inexpensive and RA - ergo transferable!

We had a VERY happy camper, (forum-name jacobmetro) who earned two IT degrees from WGU - Bachelor's and Master's. If you use the search-thingy, you'll find his postings. :-)

For a while now I have answered posts regarding many online RA accredited CS programs and questions. I did a quick search of Computer Science using the search feature and found some of my old posts.

These post are not all the information I have posted but a good place to get started on your trek. If you have any question regarding what you read in these please ask and I can get into more detail.
