Hello,

New here but looking for advice on getting an online degree. I am looking for a quick path but want to accomplish something I can be proud of from an accredited school. I have little college credit (Approx. 16 hours) and military background. I am curently in a management position in a large company but have topped out as far as progression without getting a degree.

I have researched and read a good bit here about CLEP and GRE (read the BAin4weeks site) but can anyone point me to some other sites with information about these tests? I am interested in trying to use these tests to handle as much of my general studies as possible. I do not wish to spend time taking English 101, etc. if at all possible.

I see from the polls here that many are hapy with Walden and Capella, do they accept these tests? Do I take these independantly and then submit the scores?

I am not interested in UOP due to past experiences.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.Charter Oak State College www.cosc.edu in Connecticut, Excelsior College www.excelsior.edu in New York, and Thomas Edison State College www.tesc.edu in New Jersey are known as the Big Three and they are big on accepting CLEP and DANTES credit.

Yes -

By all means, start doing the tests whenever you are ready. Continue when you're ready for more! Whenever the school you're applying to / enrolled at needs proof, you can show them.

Here are two good links on CLEP/DSST testing. Wish we had something like these in Canada, and schools that accepted them! :-)

You should look at the Whole Ed Catalog http://home.earthlink.net/~hwatts/edu/disted.html .
