I have been lucky so far. Mine have been relativily hassle free. Was just wondering what problems some others of run across so I know what to look for in the future. Thanks

My worst experience has been with regards to pacing problems. Some online instruction takes months to complete and you feel like it will take you till doomsday to finish this course. Some online instruction is completed in six weeks and crunches a year's worth of studies into that six weeks. My worst experience was one online course that was a capstone course at WGU. I had to pass it (or at least learn all the information) to graduate. I ended up taking it twice because with a family, job, and other responsibilities on the side I couldn't get on top of the program and stay on top of it. They said it would only take 25 hours per week. It really would have taken me closer to 40 hours per week to keep up. I ended up using the course as a resource and studying independantly. I passed faster than my associates who stayed with the course.
The moral of the story: Find out how much data is being crammed into how much time, then figure out if you are going to be able to make sense of the pace. If not, find another path.

I don't think that I had any one horrible experience but I have had some very close calls with almost missing deadlines, no unlike highschool with higher penalities.
