Connecting with Teachers

I know that it's harder to feel that you have a connection with your teachers online... but has anybody here ever had an online teacher that you felt you had a special connection with?

I once had an English teacher who gave me the best, most insightful comments on my essays. Even though I never saw him, I still remember him as a good teacher.

I felt especially connected to the online counselor, who worked with me on finding the shortest cheapest route just to complete my AA, so I could go on to work on something else.
