Anyone have experience with the University of Maryland University College or UMUC. I have taken a few classes there and was fairly impressed. Things seem to be very organized and well run. A bit expensive, but a good experience overall.

Is this an online program, or a regular university?

I'm currently enrolled there, and have been off and on for a couple of years. I like it a lot...they're pretty flexible and for the most part I have had nothing but good instructors. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to pursue an online degree.

For the most part it is entirely online, though they do offer a number of classes in and around the college park/ Baltimore area.

I really liked it too. I had several great instructors and feel as though I actually got more out of it than I would have in a regular classroom.

Wow, that sounds awesome. I'm looking for an online degree program that has something of a tradtional college feel. That is, I don't want to do a Univ. of Phoenix program or the like, I think. This sounds good... I'll go check out their website.

Yeah, you can use the online classes in conjunction with traditional classes too, although since I don't live in the Maryland area that really isn't an option for me.

From what I've read a lot of former students don't have great things to say about it. Everything from \"your just buying a diploma\" to \"poor internet interface\".

According to their website, UMUC is an RA school.

It is part of the University of Maryland system. It is definitely RA. UMUC has a big presence online, in branches campuses, and in other satellite locations.

I wanted to get a Bachelors in IT, can I do everything I need to online. With my changing work hours I really can't commit to having to go to a campus.

Maryland is situated at Washington D.c. It holds a large no of institutions such as medical sciences, law, arts, computers, post graduate diplomas, etc. It becomes very easy to enroll after it has been approved online. It would be one of the best source for online education.
