Learn about research being conducted in the two polar regions of earth. These vast, icy, inhospitable environments provide "natural laboratories" for scientists to study basic questions: How did the universe begin? Is earth's climate changing? What are the limits of life in extreme environments?

This is interesting. I just don't think I could take the harsh climates. It sounds like it would be interesting work though.

Yeah it sounded interesting but the link wasn't an article about the polar regions. Anyone else have that problem.

Interesting schminstresting! Being anywhere that cold sounds to me like Hell on Earth. God. I guess people are really involved in what they study and that's why they go, but I would rather die. Okay, maybe not die, but... be warm? eek.
