I'm trying to lose weight on Weight Watchers and thought any other dieters out there might want to lend each other some support and tips.
What I've learned so far -- I've vastly overestimated how many calories exercise burns  A walk around the block does not earn me an extra slice of pizza.
I LOVE MY ELLIPTICAL!! It was the best investment I have made. I had a baby 2.5 years ago and the elliptical, along with diet, got me back into shape within 5 months (30-45 minutes a day 4-5 times a week).
My problem, though, is when I lose the weight and get where I want to be, I lose ALL motivation to exercise and start gaining it back 5-10 pounds, then lose it, then gain it back. Weight has never been a problem for me until the baby and I obviously can't register that. I am still in the mindframe that when I lose weight I won't gain it back because of how I *used to be* I could eat what I want and not worry about a thing. Certainly not now. I guess as much as I love the elliptical, I am bored with my routine when I do exercise.
I am getting back into the swing of things again and plan to keep with it this time. Hopefully this time breaking up the monotony of things.

There are pill's I keep forgetting their names it's call tenuate dospan ITS An amazing pill.
Now you need a doctor prescription
But trust me I never believed in diet pills till I took this..
It makes you more active and it kills your appetite they are not cheap at all. but worth every penny.

I tend to aovid trying pills but you make them sound so good I might have to ask my doctor what he thinks about them.
I exercise and I'm trying to limit my calories. I use a lot of different exercise programs. Mainly DVD's I have a treadmill and the Gazelle trainer it works pretty well.

I don't get into the pills, if they were so good they would be a wonder drug and only one would be needed. But instead they come up with new ones every six months when everyone has figured out that the miracle pills before were not such miracles after all.
The best way to lose weight that I have found (personal experience) is to eat right without totally locking certain things out. If you totally lock yourself away from sweets you will kill your diet within a matter of months esp., if that means doing without something that really brings you joy. Give yourself some room to maneuver. Three or four cookies once a week or a piece of cake is not going to kill your diet but guilt will. Exercise is great but a lot of times people miss the muscle building part of losing weight. Muscle burns fat and if you build your lean muscle mass you will initially put on some weight since muscle weighs more than fat but that muscle will quickly burn the extra fat off provided you keep it built up.
