Does anyone know THE cheapest online MBA, regardless of reputation of the school, and regardless of accrediations.

Not counting offers like this, which I believe must be scam/fraud:

We do not provide information on Diploma Mill's.

Please go away

I will not go away, because I am not asking for information about on Diploma Mills. This is just your presumption. I look after a valid MBA, but it does not has to be accredited by God himself. Less will do. I am looking for a "normally good" MBA that won´t rip me for all my money. My guess would be that in my country almost none of my potential employers would have the slightest idea about which accrediation is good, and which accrediation is not so good, so why should I pay a lot of money for something that are not appreciated ?

So my guess is I stay here a bit longer.

Hi

If you want a GOOD MBA with DECENT accreditation, it doesn't come any cheaper than South African schools. Try Milpark or Mancosa (Management College of South Africa) and 16 others you could easily find by googling "MBA + South Africa." They're all cheap and well-accredited. SAQA degrees there usually equate to RA in the US. That's an observation, not a guarantee.

Any SA MBA will cost WAY less than any RA or NA North American MBA.

If you want a REALLY CHEAP American degree, and are willing to do some coursework for it, look at St. James College. Their accreditation is by a Bible School Accreditor unrecognized by CHEA. They're not classified as a mill -- they don't sell degrees, although you'll likely do less work than you would for ANY MBA with recognized accreditation. But then, you said you don't really care about the accreditor, didn't you?

Here are the web links to start with:

www.milpark.co.za
www.mancosa.co.za
www.saintjamescollege.org

Please note the 2 SA schools I listed are .co because they are private for-profit colleges. These are relatively new as degree-granting schools in SA but all accredited through SAQA. A Google search will also reveal the traditional universities with .ac domains like www.unisa.ac.za. They may be even cheaper. South African schools look so cheap to us in North America because their currency has depreciated so much against ours in past years.

There's only one place I know that's even cheaper than ANY of these schools and that's Indira Gandhi National Open University in India. INCREDIBLY cheap, well-accredited but you may be a long way from an exam centre - or maybe not. They have them in quite a few countries and if not in yours, an Indian Embassy may suffice. Have a look at www.ignou.ac.in

Someone out there has what you want. Apply energy and diligence to your search. Once you have chosen a school, apply the same to your studies. I wish you every success! :-)

Hi -

If there's a catch, I don't know what it is - unless this is a school OTHER than the one I think is involved: Aspen University.

The only accredited school I know of that charges anywhere near as low as $4,500 for MBA tuition (if paid up-front) is Aspen. It's a great school - DETC accredited and we've discussed it before. I'm sure we have a couple of members who are enrolled there and they can tell you how good it is!

I'd be surprised if www.cheapestmba.com is not referring to Aspen. They (cheapestmba) are discounting the program by $250! If you enquire through them, they'll have the University contact you, etc.

I'd guess it works this way: cheapestmba provides the school with leads. The school agrees to discount the fee by $250 for any leads who sign up under the prepayment plan - and cheapestmba gets a small commission.

If it IS Aspen -- sounds like a plan: get $250 off an already smokin' deal. If it's NOT Aspen - then all bets are off till we find out who it is!

If you go to www.cheapestmba.com (http://www.cheapestmba.com) it will direct you an accredited university that you can get your MBA for $4,250. No other accredited college I have seen is less than $15,000.

If you ever call the guy, could you please give us the name of universities he offer?

I am really interested in publishing them,

I also emailed the guy, will keep you inform if he provides me with a list of universities without charging me.

Cheers.

Hi -

As you say, University of Northern Washington www.unw.edu (located in HAWAII) is unaccredited.

California Pacific www.cpu.edu is ALSO unaccredited - so two out of three are not in Aspen's league. Columbia Southern (DETC-accredited, as is Aspen) is a FINE school but the cost quoted is more than double Aspen's "prepaid" deal.

Kyle - I'd still bet that the mystery school is Aspen - has to be! Their $4500 price-tag is almost famous.

I'd also hazard a guess that "the guy" is not going to part with info as you requested. He's in business to pass the names of prospects to the university; part of his deal is likely that he is not allowed to reveal the university's name and must let the school's enrolment people do all the talking. That's the way it usually works.

I could be wrong - it's happened before! If it turns out differently please let us know. Cheers :-)

UNW in Hawaii was involuntarily dissolved in 2003 and has relocated to Seattle, Washington.

Ok I just got a reply back from the website that offers degrees for 4500 USD. see below

Your friend, David Lehmann, said that you may have an interest in Aspen University’s MBA Program. What specific questions may I assist you with? You can find a full course catalog on our website, admission requirements, as well as a collection of frequently asked questions. If you decide to proceed, I will be your admissions representative and will be happy to help you with compiling all the information necessary to complete your Aspen University Application as well as any credit transfer you may want to pursue. Please feel free to contact me with questions you may have.
September is the last month to prepay at the $4500 tuition rate; starting October 1, 2007 Aspen University will be switching to a semester-based tuition payment plan.

Hi -

Guess I was right - Aspen is the only accredited school offering MBA tuition this low. There were other good suggestions in this thread at prices a bit higher but still very good value.

As to what I said about University of Northern Washington having re-located to Seattle - I believe you - but their web-page www.unw.edu carried the Hawaii info up until last week - that's where I got it.

It has been removed since and there was no location info I could find on their pages today. Anyway, it's still unaccredited...not in the same league as the others.

AJU students in the Sponsored Tuition Program can get a DETC Accredited MBA for as low as $2160 (not including textbooks). Keep in mind, this is if you take the maximum amount of courses every term (which is 3), and keep moving. If you are interested, check out http://www.aju.edu/partners.asp or email tkassner@aju.edu (or me :p jmorgan@aju.edu).

Not counting offers like this, which I believe must be scam/fraud:

If you are looking for a legitimately accredited MBA and if national accreditation is okay with you, many DETC schools charge $250/hour in tuition (which is the maximum that the military tuition assistance program will pay) for their usually 36-hour programs, which comes to $9,000 program tuition.

Andrew Jackson University is real and if you work your butt off you can have an accredited MBA for $2,160. Andrew Jackson has a reputation for being quite writing intensive so 3 courses per term would require a major commitment but you would be done in 16 months.
