Preston is listed on the Pakistani HEC Fraud list - see http://www.hec.gov.pk/htmls/hei/public_alert1.htm It appears to be operating outside of its jurisdiction, but few details are available to clarify this. Did you do your degree in Cambodia, by distance, or in Pakistan? In what manner did the Australian organisation not recognise your MBA? Was it required for the job, or to gain a payrise/ promotion?
Cheers, George

It wasn't a distance education but an in class program. When I first enrolled at that University, it was under American University of Hawaii. I studied for 1 year, than the local newspaper came out with some articles saying that AUH was a fake University.I don't know what kind of scam or agreement the management had with Preston, but they accepted the credits and tranfered all the students to PU.If AUH was a fake University, how can a good university accept credits from it ? Us student, still wonder this thing. What I know, is that it is being controlled by local people in there style with minimum moderation from Preston. WHat I know is that the general Director is a young local super model that controls the school. Just to give an idea. What should we do with our unusefull degree?
Thank you |

Asked and answered mate. [quote:bf3b070cc4=\"monk\"]What should we do with our unusefull degree?[/quote:bf3b070cc4] Smoke it, as it has no decorative value either. No, seriously, its this kind of activity which debases all forms of legitimate transnational education. They've got your money, and they're off - no point trying to get that back. Put it down to a steep learning process and move on. Do you need a degree for your job here in Australia? Cheers, George

Oh what a nightmare. How much time did you invest in getting a degree from that place? I'm so sorry for your troubles.
