Question Newport University

Hello,
Does anyone know about this university?
http://www.newport.edu/
Is this genuine university or just a degree mill?
Regards,
Tony

Diploma Mill could not find any newport university that are established in California.

the only newport colleges/university that are accredited is as follows

Arkansas State University-Newport (Newport, AR)
Christopher Newport University (Newport News, VA)
Newport Business Institute (Lower Burrell, PA)
Newport Business Institute (Williamsport, PA)
Newport School of Hairdressing, Inc. (Cranston, RI)
Newport School of Hairdressing, Inc. (Pawtucket, RI)
Phagans’ Newport Academy of Cosmetology Careers (Newport, OR)
The Apprentice School - Northrop Grumman Newport News (Newport News, VA)

Default We've BEEN through this!

Tony and Kyle -

It is NOT a diploma mill. They do not sell degrees.

It IS unaccredited - State approved. (California). Repeat. NOT a mill - you DO take courses. If you pass their law courses, you get to write the California Bar Exam. Pass, and you're a lawyer who can practise in that state. The usual caveats apply, about using the other Bachelor's and MBA degrees for employment purposes in many cases.

What more could you possibly need to know? For this price you could find RA instruction! (Not everywhere, though.) You could certainly attend quite a FEW good DETC schools rather than Newport. Their cost is roughly $150 a credit-hour.
