I also would like to know more about National University as I am on the verge of applying to the MA in English program... I am interested in the school mainly because I want to complete my MA in as little time as possible and the one course per month program definitely works for me... I have contacted several individuals at the the school for assistance and they have all been very courteous, prompt and very helpful...

The only real concern that I have is just how credible the institution is... I am hoping to pursue my PhD in Film or Media Studies and as such, would like to know how an MA from National University might affect my future opportunities...

Can anyone out there offer some insight as it would be most appreciated...

Thanks

transfering prior college credits could be a problem. You can always ask for pre-evaluation before you enroll. Mine didn't come out good although i have an A.S degree.

Default Looks okay on the surface...

This school looks okay on the surface but check with CHEA and the USDOE before enrolling. Make sure that the school holds regional accreditation, as they claim to do.

National University - regionally accredited - U of Phoenix style private school - nothing wrong with it - less respected than the big state schools but shouldn't hold you back.
