I have not heard about them before. Their site looks professional. I engaged in a chat with them after reading your question. Here is the chat-dialogue:

Quote:
Chat InformationYou are now chatting with 'Ken Baker'

you: Hello

Ken Baker: hi how may i help you

Ken Baker: ?

you: Are you an international institution, or a US institution?

Ken Baker: international

you: Do you have accrediation of any kind?

Ken Baker: US is just part of it

Ken Baker: we operating all across europe as well

Ken Baker: we are accredited with IAO international accredition organization

you: I am planning on a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) after my Master (MBA), which I am currently enrolled at with Aspen University in the US. Do you have a DBA on you list of offerings, and do you know how much it will cost me, and what is the minimum and maximum deadline of completion.

Ken Baker: we do have DBA

Ken Baker: you can complete it in less then 2 years depending upon your own pace and feepayments

you: I've just came across your university through an external site on the net. I have not heard about you before. Are you sort of a "third-party" provider, i.e. that you cooperate with other universitites, and that the degree is taken by the use of them?

Ken Baker: ts going to cost you around $11000

Ken Baker: no we are not the third party

Ken Baker: we give our own degree . we have our Aco is texas, birmingham, swedent etc

you: Ok. Have you been "in the game" for long, or are you a rather new institution?

Ken Baker: we are operating in more then 36 countries right now

Ken Baker: yes its relaitvley new

you: Do you have a link to more detailed information about you DBA offering? Courses etc.

Ken Baker: about 3 years with more then 1200 students

Ken Baker: sure

Ken Baker: http://www.mustuniversity.com/School...anagement.html

Ken Baker: http://www.mustuniversity.com/Progra...hD-Degree.html

you: Very nice. I will study it, and come back to you. Thanks for your swift service.

Ken Baker: not a problem

Ken Baker: takecare

The "MUST" initials are actually associated with several prominent schools around the world, including:

- Malaysia University of Science and Technology (in Malaysia)
- Misr University for Science & Technology (in Egypt)
- Mongolian University of Science and Technology (in Mongolia)
- Missouri University of Science & Technology (in Missouri, USA)

For some reason, the website of "MUST University" does not indicate the school's mailing address, or the school's nationality. However, it does not appear to be associated with any of the other "MUST" schools.

very interesting, the very same person told me they were open for "7+ years":

here's my chatlog:

Quote:

Ken Baker: hi how may i assist you

Ken Baker: ?

you: hi Ken .. I came across the website from word of mouth - the person who referred me too is not sure about MUST .. I would like to know more about MUST and why I should be choosing MUST instead of other known institutions

you: i can't seem to find any details about MUST other than your website

Ken Baker: ok

you: so please enlighten me

Ken Baker: the first and fore most advantage that you will have is that the degree that you will get is going to be Internationally recognized not only in US but all across europe since we have our ACO's in more then 40 countries

Ken Baker: its the only degree with which you don't need to go and buy books

Ken Baker: all the course and lectures will be provided to you online

Ken Baker: 90% of our students are aorking in MNC's

Ken Baker: on top of that

Ken Baker: its the most affordable degre that you will see when we talk about accredited and recognized degree

Ken Baker: you can check the rates of other accredited university degrees they are 3 times hiher then us

you: where do I check that?

Ken Baker: check out american intercontinental university , kaplan university

Ken Baker: etc

Ken Baker: they are our direct competitors you can check them and see were they stand and where we so the picture will be clear for you

you: and also - this accreditation body - IAO - there is no mention of it anywhere else...??

you: like MUST - it too is not mentioned anywhere else - any comments on this?

Ken Baker: what do you mean by that

Ken Baker: ?

you: no reviews/ press releases, nothing

Ken Baker: http://www.internationalaccreditation.org/

Ken Baker: this is the direct link of them

you: yes I have seen the website, that's the only place of reference - no one else knows about the organization

you: is there a direct number or address for IAO? or MUST? not a toll-free as anyone can get toll-free numbers

Ken Baker: i am not presenting IAO . all i know its te only organization owrking with state department of education of different countries

you: i hope I am making my concerns clear

Ken Baker: if you have any questions about them you can talk to them directly on there numbers

Ken Baker: but i don't think they need to market themselves as they are officialy working, aint doing any businesses

you: coming back to MUST - when did it start operations?

you: as in date

Ken Baker: 7+ years

Ken Baker: with more then 900 graduates

you: did it start as MUST uni?

you: or did it go by another name earlier?

Ken Baker: yes

you: but the domain mustuniversity.com was only registered back in 2007

you: 16-11-2007

Ken Baker: it was upgraded my friend

you: what was it earlier?

Ken Baker: we upgraded our technology

Ken Baker: not the name

you: i do know a bit abt internetworking - and the domain creation date does not change with change in technology

Ken Baker: the whole site was changed

Ken Baker: as in the upgrdation was done as to my best knowledge

Ken Baker: u can call US state departmen and cofirm it form them for your ease

you: yes. only recently - but what I am trying to say is you only opened mustuniversity.com in 2007

Ken Baker: thats the best i can tell you to do

you: can you please provide me your physical address to verify?

you: and a direct telephone (no toll-free please)

Ken Baker: 866-533-6878

Ken Baker: and tell them to direct

Ken Baker: the extensions

Ken Baker: to student counslers

Ken Baker: who so ever picks up the call

you: physical address?

Ken Baker: usually student counslers picks the call

Ken Baker: my ext is 1826

Sounds like a landslide on the bogus side to me.
40 countries?
Not even Oxford "operates out of 40 countries"...
It may be Warnborough-speak to evade the question of accreditation and/or to dodge questions about the 'value' of degrees...
Face it...Open University is a virtual university, but in all respects works like a UK one...IGNOU is a virtual university, but in all respects works like an Indian one...there is no such things as an 'international' university...

Second, maybe it's just me but 'Ken Baker' might sound more like Anil Tata in real life...

I just wonder why do people want to go after unheard of, borderline schools with bizarre credentials rather than the dozens of known, REAL schools out there, both wonderful and unwonderful.

I am saying that base on reading their program outline. I go over the interior design and the architectural program. Most of the courses are very similar to what you will expect to take in a US community college.

Default Must Student

Hi, I’m currently studying at MUST University in their BBA program– Before taking admission I compared it with all the other leading online universities and found that MUST is very flexible and affordable. They have a full on-line classroom with full free study material. They don’t have any offline campus. I guess that’s why they haven’t mentioned any address. But anytime I need any help I call them and they help me out. MUST isn’t a diploma mill, I am studying there – its just that they don’t have any physical campuses.
