California InterContinental University is nationally accredited by DETC. The "University" of Berkley is an unaccredited university. In some states it would be illegal to use a degree from the "University" of Berkley. I would go with CIU since they are nationally accredited. Another place you may want to look is Andrew Jackson University, which is also DETC accredited, but their sponsored tuition is a real steal, you could earn an MBA for dirt cheap.

Berkley probably got the edu domain before the new rules came in affect. Now an institution can not get that domain unless they are accredited by a recognized US agency. If a domain holder had it before these rules, they were grandfathered in and as long as they paid the fees, they were allowed to keep it. Always check at CHEA.ORG to make sure that the university is accredited by a recognized US accreditor, when pursuing education in the states.
