Default None have CHEA or USDOE accreditation

Hi -

None of these schools appears to have CHEA-recognized accreditation. Two had ".org" or ".com" domains and the two with .edu ones are likely "grandfathered." (If you had a .edu domain back in the early days you get to KEEP it, whether or not your school is accredited.)

This lack of government-approved accreditation does not necessarily mean they are all BAD schools, or that they are GOOD!

What it DOES mean is:

Schools without recognized accreditation cannot participate in federal student-aid programs - i.e. students cannot qualify for government financial aid to study there. (Several of the schools you mentioned are "BPPVE State-approved" by California. This makes them legal to operate but it is NOT accreditation.)

Degrees from schools without recognized accreditation have limited utility for employment. In many US jurisdictions, it is unlawful to use a degree with non-recognized accreditation for employment purposes.

I understand that Thailand is pretty strict about the use of degrees -foreign or domestic without approved government accreditation. If you want to open up a natural health consulting practice, check first with your local authorities - ask if a degree from any of these schools is a Thai-recognized qualification for the type of practice you are considering.

Check first -send money later!

Johann

Default Holistic

I did similar searches this last month; the rule of thumb I have encountered is if direct patient care is required online is usually not an option. Have you explored Public Health courses?
