I think being a member of this prestigious forum here, It is our responsibility to give & share accuarate and valid information but we have set only one criteria to verify the institution. We just look up on the Tution cost of the program and if those are cheap, we conclude our decision and declare them scam.This is not fair enough we should use some other criterias to judge the university or college.
I am not advocating any Scam, diploma mill or fraud institution. I have courage and would sue them if I was in USA because fraud universities eating innocent peoples's money and precious time.
But how can we say about the university mentioned above, even they claim affiliation of so many schools from United kingdom and other countries in the world.

You are farther from truth as can be, first we check if school has valid
license or approval from state recognized agency to provide education and award degrees and also if the school has recognized accreditation, if the faculty holders of real earned degrees and exist.
History of published thesis and dissertations of it graduates etc.
Academic and research achievements, scholars etc.

Abet Open University is unrecognized and unaccredited on line education provider. They do have some useful classes in CRM.

And others so far no better.

I can save you $1000, REAL quick! Maxine Asher owns WAU. She also owns the accreditor, WAUC!

Could poster "Air-air" possibly be a SHILL? Is he just "asking questions" or giving us all this tuition info etc in an effort to ADVERTISE this stink-bomb? I have read that local representatives of WAU get to keep HALF the money they generate, as commission. I guess that might be incentive enough! As far as I can see, WAU SELLS DEGREES, plain and simple.

No they are not a real school, they sell unrecognized degrees.
They are not that cheap there are mills that sell 10 times cheaper.
Still can't beat the price of printing your own diploma.
Call it American Wander University - AWU and have your diploma for 1$.
Have your wife or sister to verify your degree .

Sorry, air-air99, if I misread your intentions. Asia has become a mine-field of BAD schools, many with distinctly American names like WAU. (Not all of the bad American-sounding uh ..."schools" are American-owned, although the majority seem to be. WAU certainly is. I just read that Maxine Asher has recently moved its "head office" to Beverly Hills CA.)

I'm sorry to see a school like this operating in Thailand. The Thai prison system has a reputation for being comparatively harsh and I think the people who sell these degrees locally would reform quite quickly after a short stay in a Bankok jail cell.

PLEASE don't even think of using a degree like this where you live! The penalties could be VERY severe!

Thailand has excellent higher education facilities. Why not try a GOOD school - like your country's own Open University - Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University. They have distance and on-campus programs - they're at www.stou.ac.th

I want to tell about Sukothai Thaamthirat University....

I familiar learner with Sukothai Thammathirat very long time but STOU. is not 100% online or distance education they require test final exam and midtearm exam on campus or in the school around Thailand, they are fix subject time-table to test or learn. Sukothai Thammathirat doesn't use e-leaning and not have learnning on web site too. They use printing of text book and classet tape in some lesson. I reffirm classet tape not CD. I think it very out of date.
Finally Sukothai Thammathirat isn't English language school , not iternational university.
